About the RoleAs a Banking & Deposits Data Analyst, you'll use customer behavioral, transactional, and engagement data to help improve deposit growth, customer relationships, and the digital banking experience. You'll work with teams across Product, Marketing, Design, Operations, Data Engineering, and Analytics to uncover insights that inform the performance of checking, savings, and CD products across mobile and web experiences
This is an opportunity to build your analytical skills in a digital banking environment while contributing to data-driven decisions that improve customer and business outcomes.What You'll Do
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Design, Operations, and Analytics teams to analyze business questions related to customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and deposit growth
  • Analyze customer journeys, behavioral data, product usage, and lifecycle trends to identify friction points and opportunities within the digital deposit experience
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs that provide visibility into deposit flows, funnel conversion, campaign effectiveness, and product performance
  • Support analytical projects from data exploration through insight development, helping translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Support A/B and multivariate testing across product and marketing initiatives by analyzing results and identifying opportunities for optimization
  • Contribute to customer segmentation and analytical frameworks that inform personalization, targeting, pricing, and lifecycle strategies
  • Partner with Data Engineering to identify opportunities to improve data accessibility and quality
  • Stay curious about digital banking, deposits, and fintech trends and bring relevant insights into your work
About You
  • 0-2 years of experience in analytics, digital banking, fintech, consumer technology, or a related analytical role
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical skills with experience deriving actionable insights from large customer or transactional datasets
  • Proficient SQL skills and familiarity with Python, R, or another data scripting language
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker, with an ability to communicate insights through clear and effective data storytelling
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and statistical analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain analytical findings clearly
  • You're curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn while taking ownership of the quality and accuracy of your work
  • AI tools are already part of how you research, write, problem-solve, and learn. You're ready to bring that same curiosity to your work at Happen Bank and explore how AI can help you work more effectively

The above locations are eligible offices for this role.The locations have been determined to foster in-person collaboration with this role's team or the related business lines. We utilize a hybrid work model, and our teams are in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In-person attendance is essential for this role's success, and remote placement will not be considered.Happen Bank offers relocation, based on actual job level.

While the position will primarily work local hours, Happen Bank is headquartered in Pacific Time and our ideal candidate will be flexible working across time zones when necessary.

Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is 79,000-93,000. The base salary of the role will be determined by job-related knowledge, experience, education, skills, and location. Base salary is just one part of Happen Bank's Total Rewards package. You may also be eligible for long-term awards (equity) and an annual bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings).
