Purpose

The Senior AI Scientist, Marketing Science provides advanced technical expertise in the development and deployment of AI/ML-driven marketing analytics capabilities across global marketing functions.  Reporting to the Director, Global Advanced Analytics & Insights in Marketing, this role is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of AI use cases and scalable solutions that enable data-driven marketing decisions. The role sits at the intersection of AI/ML, marketing strategy, banking economics, and data engineering, translating complex data into models, insights, and AI-driven capabilities that advance best practices in marketing measurement, optimization, and personalization.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be involved in:

  • Advanced Analytics & AI Modelling: Lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of advanced analytical and AI models, including Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), incrementality, and causal inference frameworks. Apply modern machine learning and statistical techniques to improve the robustness, automation, and explainability of marketing measurement.
  • AI, Intelligent Automation & Agent-Based Decisioning: Lead the development and application of next-generation AI capabilities to transform marketing analytics and execution. Design and deploy AI-powered copilots, agent-based solutions, and workflow automation to streamline analytics processes, enhance insight generation, and improve speed-to-decision.

  • Data & AI Product Development: Design, build, and operationalise end-to-end machine learning pipelines, ensuring scalability and repeatability. Contribute to the development of scalable Data & AI products that can be leveraged across the enterprise, and drive standardisation and reuse of modelling frameworks and analytical capabilities.
  • Client & Economic Insights: Champion a deep understanding of banking economics, leading the development of client Lifetime Value (LTV) and profitability models. Translate complex client, portfolio, and loyalty data into clear, actionable insights that inform marketing strategy and enhance customer value.
  • Audience Strategy & Personalization: Develop advanced segmentation, targeting, and lookalike modelling capabilities to support audience activation across digital and paid media channels. Enable personalization strategies and next-best-action decisioning through machine learning and behavioural analytics.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence: Partner closely with marketing, product, and business stakeholders to frame analytical problems and translate insights into business actions. Communicate complex analytical outputs in a clear and concise manner to senior leadership and non-technical audiences.
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: Drive innovation through experimentation, rapid prototyping, and the application of emerging AI techniques. Act as a subject matter expert in marketing science, contributing to the broader analytics community and influencing best practices.
