Job description

Job Duties: Associate, Data Analytics with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Help run our data analytics function for Client Management and Strategy within Global Banking and Markets. Create and maintain multiple data analytical tools and dashboards which are used to provide daily metrics to senior leadership of the firm on client performance. Leverage technical skills along with business knowledge of our markets business to provide the most useful metrics to sales leaders across the firm. Challenge with merging complex data sets across market share, volume, revenues and client ranks to centralize for business leaders. Help drive prioritization on how we can outperform with the firm's top clients. Query and automate from multiple data sources to run reports for different stakeholders. Responsible for technical data management across the sales strategy global team.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master's degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) with: processing and cleaning large data sets using Alteryx or RapidMiner; extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes; creating insightful and interactive visualizations using Tableau, Microsoft Power BI or Qlikview.; Structured query language (SQL) for querying databases and managing data; SQL and non-SQL databases; Data warehousing concepts and tools including Snowflake or MS SQL Server; Data manipulation and analysis using Python or R; and Financial products and the global markets industry.
