Who you are:

As a Data Scientist III, you are responsible for managing hands-on data extraction and data wrangling from internal and external systems. You will manipulate and clean results to build predictive and prescriptive models and present the findings to business partners and leaders. You believe in effective communication and will have the opportunity to address potential problems and solutions to complex issues. What you'll do:

  • Design and implement machine learning algorithms to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization

  • Build and Analyze models using advanced analytics tools and statistical software packages like Python, SQL, R, SAS, etc.

  • Develop, manage, and deploy analytical solutions

  • Present and clearly explain results to recommend business decisions

  • Create output and/or results that visualize findings using fixed reports and/or tools like Tableau/Power BI

  • Develop project plans and integrate inflows and outflows of information with teams upstream and downstream from analytical efforts

  • Build cutting-edge analytical capabilities

  • Mentor junior analysts in utilizing data to solve business problems

  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you'll need:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field

  • 6+ years of experience as a data scientist or in a related role

  • Strong programming skills in Python or R

  • Proficient in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques

  • Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong knowledge of Azure/Google AI tool kit

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in building accelerated AI/ML utilities, modern AI/ML techniques (GAN's, Generative AI, etc.)

  • Knowledge of Cloud native tools and ops for Ai/ML

  • Experience leading/managing a team of Data Scientists
