What Arriva can offer you:

  • 13.21 per hour

  • 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.

  • Overtime available

  • Full Time contract - 38 hours per week

  • Hours or work at 15.30 - 00.00 Monday to Saturday

    Sunday 14.30-20.30

  • 30 min unpaid and 15 min paid break, normally taken 21:15 until 22:00

The role will involve:

  • Ensuring that all areas of the workshop are clean, tidy and organised.

  • Clean vehicles to comply with Arriva standards and ensure that all records are maintained correctly.

  • Re-fuel vehicle fleet in readiness for the next days' service.

  • Ensure the fuelling area is clean and any hazards are removed prior to work.

  • Carry out daily sweep and mop with deep interior cleans occasionally.

  • To fully understand and comply with all company and statutory relating health & safety and working practices and all company working policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience would be advantageous however, full training will be given.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Team worker.

  • Full UK driving license (Manual, 6 points or less).

  • Ability to pass fit for a PCV pre-employment medical.
