Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Direct Hire | Englewood, CO - 80112 (Hybrid)

NOW CFO is partnering with a confidential client to identify a mid-market and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team, this is a full-time direct hire position with our client's company.

This is an opportunity for an experienced finance executive who enjoys operating as a true business partner, not just overseeing accounting, but helping shape company strategy, improve operations, and support long-term growth. The CFO will oversee Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, and Administrative functions while working closely with executive leadership to drive organizational performance.

What You'll Do

As a member of the executive leadership team, you will:

  • Lead the company's financial strategy and long-range planning
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, cash flow management, and financial reporting
  • Provide executive leadership for Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, and Administrative Operations
  • Partner with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and business growth
  • Develop financial models and business cases for new initiatives
  • Build KPI dashboards and performance reporting to improve operational visibility
  • Improve profitability through financial analysis, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Ensure strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and risk management
  • Oversee contract administration, commercial governance, and business licensing
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and financial systems optimization
  • Lead and mentor high-performing finance and administrative teams
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
  • Experience leading Accounting, Finance, FP&A, and operational finance functions
  • Experience overseeing Human Resources and administrative functions
  • Background in information systems, technology, engineering is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Workday

Preferred

  • MBA and/or CPA
  • Experience supporting high-growth organizations
  • ERP implementation or optimization experience
  • Experience leading finance through organizational growth and transformation
  • Experience with international/global teams
