Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
As our first backend engineer, you'll take the lead in implementing Echofi's core infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and deploying the backend services that make our platform run smoothly.
Along with back-end creation skills, we are looking for an engineer that can take on complex architectural and technical problems, ensuring the highest level of security, scalability, and fault tolerance. We pride ourselves on team members with a strong sense of ownership and continual delivery.
The Role
Minimum Experience
  • Have 3+ years experience in full-stack application development (ASP, Node, Django, Rails)
  • Excited to learn new languages and frameworks
  • Experience with systems programming
  • Familiar with best practices regarding testing, security, and reliability

Preferred Experience
  • Familiar with cloud architecture, can design production-grade infrastructure
  • Familiar managing complex codebases, especially projects using git and a trunk-based development model
  • Deep understanding of SQL, including data models, queries, and ORMs
  • Previously worked with trading, banking, or payment processing APIs
