Cash Management & Customer Support Specialist

Our banking client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to provide support to internal and external customers while processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently. This role works within a collaborative team environment, managing daily workloads, meeting deadlines, resolving customer inquiries, and supporting cash management activities.


The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to learn and navigate multiple systems. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the farm credit and financial services environment while developing expertise in payment processing, cash management, and customer service.


Typical Volume: Approximately 144 accounts processed daily


Contract Details

Type: 6 month contract (potential to extend or convert)

Location: Greenwood Village (Denver, CO)

Schedule: 1 day/month in office and as needed, mostly remote

Target Pay: 20.00/hr W2


Key Responsibilities:

- Perform designated cash management activities within established timeframes and in accordance with documented policies and procedures.

- Process financial transactions and customer requests with a high degree of accuracy and quality.

- Process ACH requests through the Automated Cash Concentration application and perform account analysis.

- Provide general customer service and support to the bank's internal and external customers.

- Research and analyze transactions, identify potential issues, and understand the impact of processing errors.

- Maintain accurate records and use case tracking systems to document, monitor, and follow up on customer inquiries.

- Complete specialized customer-specific reporting.

- Resolve customer and business issues in accordance with established procedures and escalate issues when appropriate.

- Maintain a positive customer experience while working within tight deadlines and daily processing requirements.

- Participate in process improvement initiatives by learning and applying best-practice methodologies, including root cause analysis.

- Serve as Mission Critical Personnel during business continuity events or reduced-staffing scenarios.

- Work independently while also contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.


Required Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Two or more years of experience, preferably in banking, financial services, customer service, payment processing, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Experience working with back-office processing (ACH)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to learn and retain new information quickly.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

- Ability to navigate and work effectively across multiple technology systems.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Banking or financial services customer service experience.

- Familiarity with Salesforce and AWS.
