Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with occasional Saturday 8:00am - 11:00am


General Summary of position:

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting bank customers in a variety of general banking transactions and customer service tasks in a courteous and friendly manner. You will also be assisting in several areas involving general Bank Operations. Knowledge of available bank services and the ability to communicate them to our customers is essential in order to assist them with their banking needs, and to optimize their banking relationship with Rolling Hills Bank & Trust.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process deposits and other items deposited into the night drop

Balancing your Cash Drawer and/or the Bank Vault each day

Assisting customers with general banking transactions such as, but not limited to:

  • Deposits
  • Withdrawals
  • Loan payments
  • Money orders and cashiers checks
  • Process currency and coin orders
  • Cashing checks
  • Cashing Savings Bonds
  • Assist customers with Wire Transfers
  • Process Cash Advance requests from customers
  • Other miscellaneous duties that would fall under the responsibilities of a Bank Teller
  • Internet and Mobile Banking assistance

Assisting customers with general customer service tasks such as, but not limited to:

  • Ordering ATM, Debit, and Credit Cards
  • Opening New Accounts or closing accounts, which may include, Checking and Savings Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, Health Savings Accounts and Individual Retirement Accounts
  • Processing Check Orders for customers
  • Assist customers in obtaining and accessing their Safety Deposit Boxes
  • Balance and Account History inquiries
  • Informing customers of products and services that are offered at Rolling Hills Bank & Trust in an effort to meet all of their banking needs
  • Provide prompt, professional and courteous service to all customers
  • Assisting Customers with Stop Payment requests
  • Other miscellaneous duties that would fall under the responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative


Assisting with the general operations of the bank

  • Balancing and restocking ATM Machine
  • preparing various bank correspondence to be mailed
  • Delivering mail to and picking mail up from the post office and processing it as needed
  • Answering the phone
  • General Filing and clerical tasks
  • Ordering General Supplies
  • Process Return Check Items
  • Performing various types of Data Entry
