Carroll Jr./Sr. High School - Carroll Consolidated School Corporation
Carroll Jr./Sr. High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Band Teacher for grades 6 12 for the upcoming school year. Candidates holding an Indiana teaching license in Instrumental Music K 12 or 9 12 are encouraged to apply.
We are seeking an educator with a strong passion for working with adolescent students and a commitment to growing and strengthening our band program. The ideal candidate will foster student engagement, build positive relationships, and collaborate effectively with staff, students, and the community to create meaningful musical experiences.
Responsibilities include leading and developing a comprehensive band program for grades 7 12, including:
  • Concert Band
  • Marching Band
  • Jazz Band
  • Supporting performances, contests, and other musical opportunities for students
  • 7th & 8th grade band
  • 6th grade band

Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to collaborate with fellow educators and school programs while integrating literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills into music instruction to support Indiana Academic Standards and the evolving educational needs of students.
