Pay/Salary: $18.50 per hour -pay increase after 90 days
Hours of Work: M-F 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Band Saw Operator to join a Waco area manufacturer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating band saws to cut materials to precise specications, ensuring quality and eciency in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate band saw machinery to cut materials according to work orders and blueprints.
  • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, ensuring accurate dimensions.
  • Inspect materials for defects before and after cutting to maintain quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on band saw equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience operating band saws or similar machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and use measuring tools (e.g., tape measures, calipers).
  • Proficiency with basic math skils
