Role Overview
The Onboarding Product Manager owns the end-to-end investor onboarding experience for Securitize's investment opportunities. You will focus on making a complex, highly variable process feel simple and intuitive for investors, across multiple fund structures, funding methods, and issuer requirements.
One of the key focuses of this role is integrating blockchain wallet experiences seamlessly into familiar fintech onboarding flows, allowing investors to interact with tokenized securities without needing deep crypto expertise.
This is a hands-on role: you are expected to "get your hands dirty" with the actual onboarding flows, integrations, and edge cases in the US and non-US market(s).
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the investor onboarding journey from account creation through successful investment across diverse opportunities and fund structures.
  • Deeply understand current onboarding pain points and redesign flows to maximize clarity, conversion, and investor trust.
  • Define and prioritize product requirements for:
    • Funding flows (bank transfer, USD, USDC, and other methods)
    • Document execution (e.g., DocuSign or issuer-specific flows)
    • Cool-down / allocation periods and related investor communications
  • Design and optimize flows that can support many different issuer needs while still feeling coherent and intuitive for investors.
  • Work closely with engineering and design to deliver improvements iteratively, validate them with data, and refine based on user feedback.
  • Partner with Operations, Customer Support, and Issuer-facing teams to ensure internal processes and tooling support a great investor experience.
  • Continuously "walk the path" of the investor: regularly test the product, run through real scenarios, and identify friction or confusion.
  • Define metrics for onboarding success (e.g., completion rates, time to invest, drop-off points) and use them to drive prioritization.
  • Act as internal advocate for the investor, balancing issuer flexibility with a consistent, high-quality experience.
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand complex products and architectures, adapt to changing conditions, and consistently drive the vision forward.
Required Qualifications
  • Domain & Market Understanding:
    • Practical familiarity with US financial services, banking, and/or investment products.
    • Experience working with or around US bank account integrations, payments, or financial onboarding flows.
    • Working knowledge of blockchain, crypto wallets, and the broader crypto/DeFi ecosystem (e.g., wallet interactions, token transfers, custody models, on-chain vs off-chain processes).
  • Product Management Experience:
    • 3-5+ years of product management or closely related experience in B2C or B2B2C digital products.
    • Experience in fintech, wealth management, capital markets, or digital asset/tokenization platforms.
    • Proven track record of owning an end-to-end user journey and improving it through data, UX enhancements, and experimentation.
  • User Experience Focus:
    • Demonstrated ability to design clear, low-friction flows for complex or regulated processes.
    • Strong empathy for end users and ability to translate complexity into simple, guided steps.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Experience working closely with engineering, design, and operations.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
  • Leverage AI tools to speed up productivity.
  • Previous work on KYC/KYB.
  • Background in A/B testing, funnel analysis, and behavioral analytics.
