We are looking for friendly, hospitality-driven individuals interested in serving great coffee and making people's day.This will be an incredibly fast-paced, focused, team-oriented environment that is sure to grow you in many ways. We are excited to invest in individuals who want to learn and grow in the coffee industry, and to provide growth opportunities within our organization to those who succeed. Joining us with specialty coffee experience is a plus, but not required, as we'll provide comprehensive barista training.

In this position, you will be expected to contribute whatever is needed to help the team and create a memorable experience for our guests. This includes running the POS station with warmth and charisma, slinging insane amounts of coffee, washing dishes, swapping out kegs of cold brew, deep cleaning fridges, and everything in between.

Shifts are 6-8 hours long with a 30-minute lunch break.Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as they enter and guide them through the ordering process
  • Take coffee, food, and drink orders and communicate them clearly to teammates
  • Make coffee orders efficiently and to our quality standards, paying attention to variations and customer preferences
  • Deliver food and coffee items to guests inside and outside the shop.
  • Work as part of a team to keep all areas clean, well-stocked, and within health & safety regulations
  • Pay close attention to guests and anticipate needs
  • Learn to heat and serve breakfast burritos efficiently.Basic knife skills and food safety are taught as a part of the training
  • Communicate with teammates and managers about daily shop needs

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in customer service, hospitality, orcraft coffeeis a plus
  • Provide attentive and generous hospitality.
  • Keep a cool head in a fast-paced environment
  • A desire to grow knowledge of all thingscoffee & tea.
  • Flexibility to work opening, midday, and closing shifts.
  • Strong communication skills
