As a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Recovery Wellbeing Counseling Center, you will play a critical role in empowering individuals to achieve improved mental and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities

As an LPC, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and regular evaluations to identify clients' needs and tailor therapeutic interventions accordingly.
  • Facilitating effective communication between supervisors, family members, and other stakeholders involved in the treatment process to update them on client progress.
  • Developing and sharing individual treatment plans that include appointments, home visits, and observation sessions to ensure continuous care.
  • Conducting home visits to perform in-depth observations, chart reviews, and interviews that inform client treatment and progress.
  • Executing program strategies with precision to ensure compliance and effectiveness in client care.
  • Completing monthly and quarterly progress reports, reflecting on client development and areas requiring further focus.
  • Organizing and leading training sessions for team members to enhance their understanding and execution of program plans.
  • Engaging in follow-up interviews and observations to ascertain ongoing client needs and ensure alignment with their care goals.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and documentation to guarantee access to pertinent information for care coordination.
  • Building relationships within the mental health community to aid clients in reaching their personalized developmental goals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including both adults and youth. Your expertise will guide clients facing a range of challenges, such as trauma, substance misuse, family dynamics, and life transitions. Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for your application:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.
  • Proven knowledge of legal and ethical standards within the counseling field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport with clients and their families.
  • Experience collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other relevant technologies.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following areas of specialization are highly preferred:

  • Expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling.
