Position Title: Maintenance Team Member
Organization: Nutmeg Baking Co.
Location: 150 Meadow Street Hartford, CT 06114
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Overview
A Maintenance team member is generally responsible for supporting preventive as well as reactive maintenance and repairs across all areas of the facility and operation. The production facility and equipment are to be kept clean, sanitary, calibrated, and safe at all times. They are responsible for maintaining all equipment in the bakery according to Dunkin’ standards, Nutmeg Baking Co. policies and procedures, and in compliance with all applicable laws and OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities Include:
• Install, repair, and maintain all equipment to OEM performance standards
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems and determine how to correct them.
• Use repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
• Record maintenance and repair worked performed.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules. Receive OSHA and other job specific training as needed.
• Work with Equipment Suppliers service representatives as required
• Execute Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety guidelines throughout the production shift
• Follow Brand cleaning standards
• Follow food safety standards
• Clean equipment following specific cleaning procedures for each type of equipment
• Proper use of cleaning chemicals and tools
• Filtering and boiling out fryers
• Maintain a people focused culture in the bakery
• Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers
• Adhere to lockout tagout policy
Education/Experience:
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Basic mechanical, electrical, and basic wiring
