Job description

Our Bakery Production team helps bring Tatte's pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts to life through craftsmanship, consistency, and attention to detail. We bake everything from scratch using high quality ingredients and are looking for team members who are passionate about pastry, thrive in fast paced production environments, and take pride in their work.
Bakery Production Team Members support all aspects of the bakery production process, including preparing ingredients, scaling recipes, shaping doughs, building desserts, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We expect our Bakery Production team members to:
  • Work collaboratively and support the team wherever needed
  • Bring passion, attention to detail, and pride to every task completed
  • Maintain high standards for quality, cleanliness, and organization

  • Have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Prior bakery production experience is helpful, but we are open to training motivated candidates who are excited to learn and grow within our bakery program.
Summary of Bakery Production Team Members' Primary Responsibilities
  • Identify and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production needs
  • Scale recipes and ingredients accurately for production
  • Sheet, shape, and prepare doughs in a production kitchen environment
  • Build composed desserts and pastries
  • Prepare housemade jams, fillings, mousses, and other bakery components
  • Finish, top, and decorate pastries and desserts
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with FDA guidelines
  • Support kitchen organization and product quality standards
  • Perform additional production and kitchen responsibilities as needed
  • Other related assignments as necessary

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Ability to work in a fast paced production kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift, manipulate, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods of time
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including at least one weekend shift
