Job description

Job Purpose:
- The Bakery Packager at Hugo's Central Bakery is responsible for ensuring that all bread and bun-related products are packaged efficiently and in accordance with food safety standards. The role involves maintaining product quality, ensuring freshness, and sealing products to meet company standards. The packager will report directly to the packaging lead and contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the bakery at the end of each shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Package all bread and bun-related products in the bakery.
- Report to the packaging lead and follow their guidance and instructions.
- Monitor product quality to ensure all items are fresh, appealing, and properly sealed.
- Follow food safety protocols to maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Perform cleaning duties at the end of each shift to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in maintaining inventory rotation and labeling procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve packaging goals.
- Stand for long periods and lift as required to fulfill packaging duties.
- Exhibit reliability and punctuality to ensure smooth operations within the bakery.
