SUMMARY
The Niemann Harvest Market Baker is responsible for producing high quality artisan baked goods and gaining product knowledge. The Baker will assist the Bakery Manager in creating a positive store atmosphere for customers and a positive working environment for Associates while fostering the Niemann Harvest Market culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction

  • Reads and follows recipes
  • Produces daily pre ferments for breads
  • Produces daily dough and baked goods
  • Uses all equipment needed to produce baked goods
  • Scales, shapes, and forms bread and rolls
  • Proofs, bakes and sells bread and rolls
  • Plans next day's production
  • Follow all Health Code guidelines
  • Follows all store and department policies and procedures
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training;
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
