Main responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing daily Bakery Department operations, ensuring high standards for quality, freshness, presentation, and customer service.
  • Foster a welcoming, customer‑focused environment and resolve customer concerns and special orders
  • Assist with planning and executing daily bakery production based on sales trends and seasonal demand.
  • Execute merchandising plans, promotions, planograms, and seasonal programs
  • Assist in managing department sales, labor, scheduling, ordering, inventory, and shrink goals.
  • Support compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and developing bakery associates while promoting teamwork and accountability.
  • Perform Bakery Department duties as needed and assume responsibility for department operations in the absence of the Bakery Manager
