Job description

Georgia Bail Bonding company is currently looking for highly motivated, professional individuals who possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to negotiate/interact with families in distress, and the desire to work full time in an active bail bonds office. We have four locations in the metro area: Dekalb County / Avondale Estates, Clayton County / Jonesboro, Cobb County / Marietta, and Gwinnett / Lawrenceville. Applicants must be willing and able to work any shift at any of these locations. In addition to in-house responsibilities, applicants will be expected to underwrite and post bonds at local jails.

Underwriting:

Use independent judgment to evaluate the interrelated considerations of flight risk and financial credit worthiness and overall dependability of the indemnitors and defendants in determining whether Georgia Bonding Company should underwrite the risk of a criminal defendant’s non-appearance in court – the bottom line – will the defendant show up for court. That means:

Making sure you properly document all information from initial phone contacts which maximizes the potential of each bail lead by securing the key information (contact info of caller, name date-of-birth of defendant, etc.) and following up.

• Make sure you get all the information from the jails and courts for the client

• Must complete indemnitors applications prior to posting the bond

• Execute complete defendant’s applications

• Verify that all information received from indemnitors and defendants received is accurate

• Work every bail lead with a sense of urgency while always providing outstanding customer service.

Customer Service:

Georgia Bail Bonding has been in the bail bonding business since 2000. We have been here that long because we offer the best customer service, and we treat everyone we deal with the way we want to be treated – with honesty and respect. We demand the same out of every agent that writes for us.

• Provide prompt, professional, non-judgmental customer service to the general public

• Inform all clients of the services performed

• Inform all clients and their indemnitors of their duties and responsibilities regarding the transaction in a professional manner

• Provide outstanding customer service with a sense of urgency in the following areas, including but not limited to executing the bond, check-ins, court updates, payments as well as any other client issue that can and will arise daily.

• Always maintain a professional personal appearance and adhere to the proper dress code while working with any customer. Indemnitor, court, jail, or co-worker

• Always be a TEAM player and provide support as needed without hesitation and/or complaint.

By any definition, this is a sales job.

• Pass an extensive background check performed by Georgia Bail Bonding Company

• Georgia Bail Bonding intends to help provide a safe and drug-free work environment

• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal/communication skills that ensure successful interaction with clients

• Possess basic computer skills including but not limited to typing, Google Suites, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, excel, etc.)

• Ability to multi-task in high pressure situations and prioritize to maximize production and keep customer satisfaction to their highest level of expectations

• Ability to work with others as a team

• Ability to work by yourself

• Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible

• Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision

The following benefits are available to qualified employees:

• All training and any material needed to become a licensed agent.
