Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time onsite. This means work will be conducted on location at BAE Systems facility 100% of the time
Please note this postition supports our 2nd Shift:
4/10 work schedule Monday through Thursday
A 10% Pay Premium will be added while working the 2nd Shift from 3:30PM to 2:00AM

This is an entry level position where the finisher will apply a variety of standard and expermimental finishes to both production and prototype machined parts in conformance with military specifications. Ensures proper surface masking and preparations, mixing epoxies and solvents to appropriate ratios by weight, volume or viscosity, incorporating a knowledge scales and weights and how substances interact. Prepares the surfaces of parts, assemblies and finished products by cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, masking and stenciling.
Selects and mixes finishing materials: coats and/or touches up product with such materials as paint, acrylic, Varnish, enamel, lacquer and stain application. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with stastical process control and procedures. Works from blueprints and process sheets to develop finishing proceses, applications and techniques where thickness tolerances are critical.

  • Must be able to follow processes and written instructions

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $40003 - $64006
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
