Position Summary:The Equipment Operator II supports underground utility construction, including water, sewer, and drainage installations. Work involves excavating and preparing trenches, installing and connecting piping systems, setting structures such as manholes and catch basins, and assisting with backfilling, grading, and site restoration. Operators are expected to safely run excavation and site equipment while also stepping in to perform general labor duties as needed, including pipe laying assistance, spotting, trench safety tasks, and cleanup.Hiring Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent relevant experience.3+ years of previous related experience and education.Can be qualified by an approved and competent company Operator on at least two pieces of equipment from the following (one piece per bullet): Telehandler/Compact Truck Loader/Front-End, Loader, Dozer/Grader, Backhoe, or <32k lbs., Excavator and all attachments.Basic GPS and drawing interpretation knowledge, helpful.MA Hoisting license required.Ability to read and write English.Obtain and maintain all required Operator Qualifications to perform work. OSHA‑10 Certification (company-supported if not current), DOT Medical Card (assistance provided), valid U.S. driver's license, successful drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review per federal/state regulations.At R.H.
