Primary Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite)
Position Type: Contract - 13 Weeks (potential for extension)
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hrs/week | Monday-Friday | Shifts between 7:45 AM-4:15 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | No weekends | No call Requirements
Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Front Desk Coordinator. This is a 13-week contract role based onsite in Minneapolis, MN at a well-established lung and sleep specialty clinic.
This position exists to ensure a seamless, welcoming patient experience by managing all front desk operations including registration, check-in/check-out, scheduling, and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment. Occasional coverage support at a secondary St. Paul clinic location may be required; candidates will be informed in advance of their assigned location. Travel between locations during an active shift is not required.
What You Bring to the Role.

  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare front desk experience including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and administrative support in a clinical setting.
  • Epic EMR experience required; MyChart and In-Basket experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with insurance verification, demographic data collection, and patient registration workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver exceptional patient customer service in a high-volume environment.
  • Reliable transportation required; High School Diploma or GED required.
What You'll Do.
  • Greet and welcome patients in person and by phone; perform patient registration and check-in/check-out processes.
  • Collect demographic, insurance, and financial information; obtain required patient documentation and signatures.
  • Schedule appointments, process reschedule reports and No Show letters, and review MyChart appointments for accuracy and follow-up.
  • Collect co-pays and balances; respond to questions regarding financial assistance programs; perform End of Day reconciliation.
  • Perform Epic and In-Basket responsibilities including scheduling, records management, and patient communications via RightFax.
  • Maintain patient care lobby and check-in areas including cleaning, restocking supplies, and coordinating release of information requests.

Compensation Information
The expected pay range for this position is $16-18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
