Job description

Each team member will report to the service manager and will be responsible for performing routine fire alarm, sprinkler, backflow, kitchen hood, special system, fire pump and extinguisher inspections & repairs depending on experience, certifications and skill sets. Team members will be required to understand codes applicable and document deficiencies within the Building Reports platform.  Attention to detail is paramount and documenting the necessary details to ensure repairs are quoted/repaired accurately is a critical part of the inspection duties. Service/Repair duties include repairing systems found deficient in a safe and efficient manner while documenting that the work has been completed.  Job duties include, but are not limited to, servicing, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting of Fire Life Safety Systems to all applicable code standards. This position will also require the ability to follow a pre-determined schedule, accurate and timely submitting inspections reports & work orders.  At Adanac Fire Protection, Inc. we focus on retaining staff, customers and long-term success by investing in our staff and providing development & growth.


Requirements: 

  • Valid driver’s license 
  • High school diploma/ GED 
  • Able to work flexible hours including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer needs 
  • Identify code and other non-conformance issues and make recommendations on repairs or preventative maintenance 
  • Complete and produce reports that are legible, accurate, and detailed through Building Reports 
  • Punctual & Reliable 
  • Positive attitude & team mentality 

Preferred:

  • NICET Certifications 
  • CSA Certifications 
  • ABPA/ASSE Certification 
  • 5+ years prior work experience 
  • Knowledge of Building Reports, Service Trade & NFPA Codes 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required
