Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Main Service Plumber to join our service plumbing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various residential and commercial sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet all safety standards, building codes, and client specifications.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances at residential and commercial properties.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment required for plumbing installations or repairs.
  • Perform remodeling, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks to ensure optimal functioning of plumbing systems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electric/gas/tankless water heaters, toilets, faucets, etc.
  • Use mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions following safety protocols.

Experience

  • Proven experience in residential and commercial plumbing. (5+ years preferred)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and proficiently with customers on site.
  • Skilled in welding, pipe threading, schematics reading, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Skilled in gas piping.
  • Familiarity with construction site procedures, safety standards, and building codes related to plumbing systems.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation or repairs.
