Job description

The Sales Enablement & Development Specialist position supports the Allied Field (150+ sales and service reps) with sales enablement activities, communications, and development opportunities. This position manages the system administration of a robust sales enablement platform, coordinates the release of new features and enhancements, and supports the upkeep of current and relevant sales and marketing materials on the platform. The communication work focuses on collaborating with executives, key stakeholders and provider partners to create monthly webinar content on new product launches, key initiatives, peer sharing, industry updates, and job specific training and development. This position also oversees and supports the creation and distribution of weekly communications to reps. Training and development projects focus on maintaining and elevating rep talent by collaborating with leadership to identify knowledge and performance gaps, building solutions, and executing plans to upskill the Field. This includes session creation for the annual National Sales Meeting, building eLearnings, and one-on-one trainings. This position has an enterprise-wide impact supporting key company initiatives and works in close collaboration with leadership and key stakeholders in all business areas.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Enablement & System Administration
  • System administrator for a sales enablement platform, including coordinating the release of new features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to implement and manage the adoption of sales enablement technologies and tools to enhance sales productivity and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product to create and manage a repository of sales collateral, presentations, and resources to support the sales process at all stages.
  • Enable ease of access and use of technology, tools, assets, and resources for reps.
  • Develop and maintain sales methodology resources and trainings to enhance sales effectiveness and consistency.
  • Collaborate with technology team to test and troubleshoot the system.
  • Administer SharePoint set up on the back-end, oversee access, and manage the overall user experience.

Sales Communications
  • Develop strategic communication plans in collaboration with leadership, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts to support new initiatives and manage change.
  • Plan, develop, and facilitate various webinars in collaboration with management, product, and external providers.
  • Author content and communications to support new initiatives and product launches.
  • Oversee and support the creation of weekly communications to reps.

Sales Development
  • Evaluate and identify ongoing rep training needs and provide hard and soft skill development.
  • Create onboarding plans for new reps, and coordinate learning and development opportunities.
  • Partner with the National Sales Training Manager to train and support reps on technologies and systems, sales and training techniques, and products and company initiatives.
  • Author eLearnings, training guides, quick reference cards, etc.
  • Collaborate with Field management to create content and sessions for the annual National Sales Meeting, and other rep in-person training events throughout the year.

ROI Tracking & Reporting
  • Collaborate with leadership to determine key goals for sales enablement and communications activities.
  • Analyze ROI, communicate and present insights to sales leadership, and recommend enhancements and improvements.
  • Monitor and assess approval and impact of sales enablement and communications activities.
  • Support the creation, administration, and analysis of the rep surveys, and leverage the results for sales enablement communication, and development planning.

Initiative & Team Support
  • Support and assist with key company initiatives.
  • Support new hire onboarding of internal teammates.
  • Supervise and mentor summer intern in partnership with department leadership and HR.
  • Assist Field leadership in vetting and interviewing candidates.
  • Invest in personal development on sales enablement, communication, and training trends.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education or work experience, required. Field of Study: Sales, Communications, Marketing, Training & Development
  • 3-4 years of sales enablement, sales communication, or sales development experience
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills required
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite of software skills required
  • Critical thinking skills in order to isolate problems and generate recommendations required
  • Strong organizational and task management skills required
  • Experience with sales enablement software required
  • Seismic experience preferred
  • Experience with eLearning software and an LMS preferred
  • Experience in a sales organization preferred
  • Experience with financial institutions and insurance products preferred

The projected base salary range for this position is $66,110 to $79,310 (annualized USD). This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance results.
