They are capable of working on both the backend and frontend parts of web applications, allowing them to develop end-to-end features and ensure seamless integration between the client and server sides. This role requires strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or Java, as well as familiarity with databases, server architectures, and various web frameworks. Job description

At Accenture Federal Services, nothing matters more than helping the US federal government make the nation stronger and safer and life better for people. Our 13,000+ people are united in a shared purpose to pursue the limitless potential of technology and ingenuity for clients across defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health organizations.

Join Accenture Federal Services, a technology company within global Accenture. Recognized as a Glassdoor Top 100 Best Place to Work, we offer a collaborative and caring community where you feel like you belong and are empowered to grow, learn and thrive through handsโ€‘on experience, certifications, industry training and more.

Join us to drive positive, lasting change that moves missions and the government forward!

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior AI Full-Stack Engineer who will be a key contributor on a team solving complex, high-impact problems for government and federal customers. You are handsโ€‘on, move fast, and bring both depth and breadth โ€” equally comfortable architecting a multiโ€‘agent AI pipeline and building the UI that puts it in front of end users. You have strong opinions about software design, know when to make tradeโ€‘offs, and naturally elevate the engineers around you.

The Work:
  • Design and build end-to-end AI-powered solutions โ€” from backend agent orchestration to polished, production-ready frontends
  • Develop GenAI solutions leveraging LLMs, autonomous agents, and RAG to power critical federal workflows
  • Rapidly prototype and deliver proof-of-concepts and MVPs that evolve into production systems
  • Build cloud-native, AI-native applications addressing some of the most complex challenges in the Federal space
  • Create responsive, accessible web interfaces and dashboards that surface AI capabilities to non-technical end users
What weโ€™re looking for:AI & GenAI:
  • Deep expertise with LLMs, agentic frameworks, vector databases, semantic search, and RAG pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of GenAI concepts including tool invocation, guardrails, memory, and multi-agent orchestration.
  • Strong, daily handsโ€‘on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex/ChatGPT, Cursor, or equivalent โ€” using them not just as autocomplete but as active development collaborators to accelerate prototyping and production delivery.
Full-Stack Engineering:
  • Strong frontend skills: component-driven development using React, Next.js, or Angular; proficiency in TypeScript/ JavaScript.
  • Ability to build clean, intuitive UIs that make complex AI outputs accessible and actionable.
  • Solid backend experience: Python for AI/data workloads; Node.js, Java, or Go for services and APIs.
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Advanced experience designing and deploying cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
What youโ€™ll need:
  • 5 years of professional software development experience
  • Experience with rapid prototyping (taking ideas from concept to production-ready in days)
  • Handsโ€‘on experience with at least one major agentic AI framework (e.g.: LangGraph, CrewAI, Google ADK, or similar)
  • Experience with AI coding agents (e.g.: Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or similar) as a core part of your development workflow
  • Demonstrated experience building frontend applications (e.g.: React preferred, or Next.js, or Angular)
