Job description

Job Summary:
UST is a mission-driven technology company that transforms lives through innovation. They are seeking a Senior Database Developer to design, develop, optimize, and manage database solutions for cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Azure SQL / SQL Server databases to support enterprise grade applications
• Develop and optimize T SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and indexes
• Ensure database performance, scalability, availability, and data integrity
• Partner closely with application developers to support backend and full stack features
• Implement and manage database deployments using PowerShell and automated release pipelines
• Support CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Perform schema versioning, migration, partitioning, and release coordination across environments
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning and root cause analysis
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong experience as a Senior Database Developer or equivalent role
• Advanced expertise in SQL Server / Azure SQL
• Strong T SQL development skills (stored procedures, indexing, query optimization)
• Experience with Azure hosted databases and cloud based architectures
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell for database deployment and automation
• Experience working with Azure DevOps pipelines and GitHub for version control
• Solid understanding of database design principles and data modeling
• Experience supporting applications built on .NET / C (backend integration)
Preferred:
