Position Summary:

The Busser / Back Waiter supports the service team by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and flow of the dining room. This role ensures tables are properly set, cleared, and reset quickly while assisting servers in delivering a seamless and welcoming guest experience. In addition to operational support, the Busser contributes to overall hospitality by anticipating guest needs and maintaining a polished dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently throughout service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and restrooms.
  • Assist servers with delivering food, water service, and table maintenance when needed.
  • Refill water, clear plates, and support ongoing table upkeep during guest dining.
  • Stock service stations with necessary supplies (silverware, napkins, glassware, etc.).
  • Assist with opening and closing side work duties.
  • Communicate with servers and kitchen to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Provide friendly, attentive support to guests when interacting with them.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, entryways, and high-traffic areas.
  • Support overall front-of-house operations during busy periods.
