General Overview
Servers are responsible for engaging with guests to deliver an elevated experience. The essence of hospitality and graciousness in dealing with guests. Performs duties in a pleasant, conscientious, fun, energetic and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
Summary of Responsibilities
• Deliver steps of service as outlined in the handbook; including but not limited to running through the menu highlights, suggestions & pairings, specials, and daily additions.
• Oversee table maintenance, coordinate service at the table with Server Assistants and Food Runners. Work with back waiter in clearing and re-setting tables. Servers are required to help back waiters with plate changes, soy sauce pour and refreshing silverware
• Check IDs to ensure alcoholic beverages are served only to guests over 21 years of age and monitor the amount of alcohol served, so that guests do not become overly intoxicated
• After serving each course, monitor guest for satisfaction within 2 minutes or 2 bites
• Communicate the needs of the guests to kitchen and management Quickly and discreetly informs the manager on duty of any customer complaints or issues Assists management as needed to ensure smooth operation and quality service
• Effectively cross promote in-venue events (Kamayan Feasts, Sushi Rolling, etc) along with suggesting guests to fill in Feedback Cards
