The Primary Care Center is a primary care and urgent care group established in the Atlanta area for over 25 years. We provide comprehensive acute and chronic medical care in the same environment, with maintenance in continuity of care and physician-patient relationship.

Job Description

This position encompasses both administrative and clinical aspects of medical assisting. It includes, but is not limited to, check-in, check-out, answering telephone calls, verifying insurance benefits, scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting copays, deductibles, and co-insurances, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, processing requests for medical records, triage, obtaining vitals and other pertinent information from patients, assisting providers with exams and procedures, and performing diagnostic testing.

Qualifications

Registered or Certified Medical Assistant designation, with a minimum of two years of recent outpatient experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care. Associate degree strongly preferred.
