Company: Hakoware by Harvest Pack Inc.

Location: New Jersey

Position Type: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

About Harvest Pack & Hakoware

At Harvest Pack, we believe that great products shouldn’t cost the Earth. We are on a mission to deliver eco-friendly, sustainable, and high-quality packaging solutions that reduce single-use plastic waste across the food service industry.

As our Office & Operations Associate, you aren't just filing paperwork, you are the vital engine bridging our administrative operations and warehouse execution. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your precision directly impacts our team, our clients, and our sustainability mission, you’ll fit right in.

Core Responsibilities
  • Inbound & Outbound Logistics Planning: Coordinate sales order fulfillment and partner with carriers and the General Manager to schedule and receive shipping containers seamlessly.
  • Inventory & E-commerce Documentation: Oversee daily e-commerce fulfillment records and lead regular inventory audits to ensure digital data perfectly matches physical stock.
  • Process Integration & Improvement: Serve as the trusted bridge between office administration and warehouse teams to streamline workflows and resolve operational bottlenecks in real time.
  • Financial & Bookkeeping Support: Maintain accurate weekly financial records and perform foundational bookkeeping tasks in close support of the General Manager.
  • Vendor & Return Management: Serve as the primary liaison for external vendors while managing end-to-end customer return workflows with care and efficiency.
What Success Looks Like
  • Inventory Accuracy: Maintain $< 2 %$ variance between digital ERP records and physical stock counts.
  • Fulfillment Speed: Ensure $100 %$ of daily e-commerce orders are processed and documented within 24 hours.
  • Proactive Coordination: Zero "blind" container arrivals—all incoming shipments are scheduled, staffed, and prepped at least 48 hours in advance.
What We Stand For
  • Sustainability & Impact: We take pride in building a greener future. Every inventory decision and smooth delivery ensures eco-friendly solutions reach our customers efficiently.
  • Teamwork & Unity: We bridge the gap between office strategy and warehouse execution. We respect every member of our team and foster an open, collaborative environment.
  • Reliability & Excellence: We do what we say we're going to do. From accurate inventory tracking to flawless order processing, high standards are at the heart of our work.
  • Ownership & Solutions Mindset: We don't just spot bottlenecks—we solve them. We take initiative, adapt quickly, and continuously improve our processes.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing office setting preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic-to-intermediate MS Excel and bookkeeping/ERP software. E-commerce experience (e.g., Shopify, Amazon Seller Central) is a major plus.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the natural ability to build rapport across different teams and operational cultures.
  • Mindset: High detail orientation, dependability, and a genuine passion for continuous process improvement.
Why Join Us?
  • Purpose-Driven Work: Be part of a growing company making a real, positive impact.
  • Growth Culture: Work in a structured, transparent environment guided by the EOS framework where your contribution is visible and valued.
  • Collaborative Environment: Join a supportive, hands-on team dedicated to shared success.
