Trading Back Office Administrator/Crude Operator

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for overseeing a variety of administrative tasks, including support for management and colleagues to ensure organizational effectiveness, day-to-day office operations are ran smoothly and able to work in a team and independently.

Essential Functions (Duties that are fundamental to the role and must be performed on-site)
  • Responsible for accounting assistance
  • Coordinate in all aspects of financial reports
  • Coordinate with Treasury office in HQ and SKI
  • Assisting with accounting including opening, posting entries, and month-end closing
  • Follow up with trading data entered in THOR and SAP
  • Review and confirm the trading and freight for proof of payment.
  • Create and receive invoices for trading payments
  • Create or expand BP(Business Partner) and assist with KYC process
  • Manage daily futures balance and paper positions, daily email report
  • Preparing and making payment in a timely manner
  • Clearing AR vouchers and incoming payments for credit management
  • Provide documents requested by the audits

  • In-depth understanding of daily operations
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Communication and Co-work with Korean Staff in HQ (Korea)
  • Ability to work with Customer service-driven, hospitality mind with an overall professional demeanor
  • Ability to interact with employees of all levels
Physical & On-Site Requirements
  • This position is performed entirely on-site at the Houston, TX office.
  • Regular, predictable, and punctual on-site attendance during standard business hours is an essential function of the job.
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment, handle and organize physical files, and move between departments.
  • Ability to lift and carry office supplies, files, and packages weighing up to 20 lbs.
Qualifications
  • 0-5 yearsโ€™ experience in a trading back-office role
  • Bachelor's degree (Major in international business-related fields such as trade, finance, accounting, business/ economics, English, etc.)
  • Bilingual in Korean is required
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. legally without visa sponsorship
