Position Summary

As a Data Analyst in the Mid/Back Office Tech Team, your primary impact will center onQlik Sense dashboard design, development, and data load transformations.

In addition to core business intelligence responsibilities, you will work closely withthe core development teamto build and optimize backend services supporting the full trade lifecycle, ensuring seamless data flow from front-office trading systems straight through to middle and back-office platforms.

Key Responsibilities Qlik & Business Intelligence Development (Core Focus)
  • Lead Qlik Sense dashboard design, development, and data load transformations tailored for middle and back-office groups, including accounting and compliance.
  • Own the audit trail reporting function for the firm, including the management, maintenance, reconciliation, and optimization of daily reporting to 3rd parties.
  • The ideal candidate has prior experience with the implementation of efficient business intelligence and compliance data processes and a track record of ensuring that reports are completed with the highest accuracy and quality within deadlines.
Backend, Integration & Trade Lifecycle Support
  • Develop and maintain backend services that support the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, reconciliation, P&L, settlements, and accounting feeds.
  • Ensure accurate and reliable data flow between front-office trading systems and middle/back-office platforms.
System Optimization & Operations
  • Support production systems and help resolve time-sensitive, high-pressure issues.
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and observability through testing, monitoring, and automation.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Academic degree in Computer Science or another STEM-related field of study.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer.
  • Strong programming and data-querying skills, withstrong expertise in advanced SQL andone or more general-purpose programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, data quality, and performance optimization.
  • Experience developing business intelligence dashboards, operational reports, and self-service analytics solutions using a modern visualization platform.
  • Proven familiarity with the end-to-end software development lifecycle from version control and automated testing to containerized deployments, system monitoring, and ongoing production support.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize time to meet strict deadlines.
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting systems or data processes across a complete operational lifecycle, such as trade capture, reconciliation, profit and loss, settlement, accounting, or regulatory reporting.
  • Experience in trading, financial services, regulated industries, or another environmentrequiring high accuracy, reliability, and auditability.
  • Exposure to artificial intelligence or machine learning, particularly for workflow automation, anomaly detection, data-quality monitoring, or intelligent reporting.
Compensation

Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

Final compensation will bedeterminedbased on the candidateโ€™s skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
