Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Load raw material into hoppers and manage regrind as directed by the Operator.
  • Monitor and tend downstream equipment (pullers, laser counters, winders, or hand spooling stations).
  • Package finished tubing (spooling, boxing, labeling) according to order requirements.
  • Perform visual inspections of product for surface defects, print quality, and packaging integrity.
  • Perform dimensional checks (OD/ID/wall) using micrometers and calipers.
  • Record production counts, scrap, and basic quality data accurately.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized following 5S principles.
  • Assist with material movement, empty gaylords, and scrap removal.
  • Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and PPE requirements.
  • Communicate issues or quality concerns immediately to the Operator or Supervisor.
  • Support changeovers and line clean-ups as needed.
  • Grind bad tubing in the regrind area in free time to be recycled back into the lines.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions and labels.
  • Basic math skills (counting, weighing, simple measurements).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required by production needs.
