Position Summary

We are currently building a pool of qualified part-time faculty to support our academic programs. Candidates will be contacted as needed, each semester, based on student enrollment numbers and program requirements.

The School of Liberal Arts is looking for part-time faculty to teach Political Science courses. The position requires teaching in a face-to-face, in-person format
during daytime hours on the Arnold Campus and experience with online learning management systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:
Providing instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines; assessing student progress toward learning objectives through formal and
informal assessments; maintaining accurate records; and meeting all required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other requested information.
Faculty are expected to adhere to safety procedures and departmental standards, maintain appropriate professional conduct and ethics, fulfill the responsibilities
of a part-time faculty member, and teach all scheduled cla

A master's degree in Political Science or a related field.
College-level teaching experience preferred
One year of experience
