About the Role:
Join Sylvan Learning Center in Monroe, WA as a Part-time Teacher for K-12 English and Math! We're looking for passionate educators who inspire students to achieve their academic goals while fostering a love for learning in a supportive environment. Do what you love - teach! Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging, personalized instruction in English and Math for K-12 students.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to center staff to tailor individual learning plans.
  • Create a positive and motivating learning environment.
  • Utilize Sylvan's proprietary curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Uses praise and encouragement to ensure students are engaged and inspired to learn
  • Motivates students with Sylvan tokens given for specific achievements according to the Sylvan instructional management standards  
  • Records and tracks tokens earned by students
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting.
