Job description

Position: Middle School Math and Science
A full-time position is available for a highly motivated individual to join the faculty at St. Stephen Catholic School. We are seeking applicants with a background in math education and enthusiasm for a cross-curricular, faith-filled, educational program. This position may also include some science and religion instruction. The candidate must be Catholic to teach religion.
License:
  • Professional certification (or eligible to be certified) in middle grades or secondary math or science.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university with an emphasis in math.
  • Knowledge of 21st-century learning, understanding, and application.
  • Deep knowledge of content standards, effective instructional strategies, and assessment-driven instruction.
  • Strong Google Apps for Education skills (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, etc).
  • Highly effective communication, listening, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
