Job Description

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Instruct in various physical education courses designed to teach and develop athletes to compete at intercollegiate levels.

  • Course assignments may be multi-campus with the possibility of day or evening classes.

  • Courses are delivered in person.

  • Develop lesson plans, syllabus, and course materials with Program Director.

  • Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.

  • Provide excellent teaching experience, student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education; or, bachelor's degree in physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education; or, possess a combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent to the above.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching college Physical Education or related courses.

  • Experience teaching/coaching at the intercollegiate level.

Starting Salary

$925.00 per Instructional Unit or $57.81 per Contact Hours
