Position Overview:
  • Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained classroom serving up to 15 students, supported by two paraprofessionals, using individualized teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Develop and implement instructional plans that promote students' academic, social, and behavioral growth in a structured learning environment.
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, educators, and families to support student progress and foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
  • Monitor student performance, maintain required documentation, and adapt instruction to meet individual educational goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Special Education endorsement
