Pay Range:
$18.40 - $25.30
Position Summary:
The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Technician are to support the laboratory staff with the process of hematology products and components. This position will perform a variety of tasks within a laboratory setting that may include component fixation, separation and washes, and blending products according to approved protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with processing of animal and human blood.
  • Perform component procedures as assigned.
  • Ensure that product/components are manufactured according to deadline.
  • Monitoring reagent and supply inventory.
  • Clean and maintain work areas in accordance with procedures.
  • Accurately complete and maintain required documents in accordance with procedures.
  • Display a willingness to learn new concepts and techniques.
  • Follow company policies and practices and follow guidelines regarding safety.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years laboratory experience. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to follow procedures and knowledge of nonconformance
  • Ability to handle blood
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and practices
  • Knowledge of SOPs and lab procedures
