Captain — Gulfstream G200

Two (2) Positions Available | Full-Time, Salaried | Part 91 Operations

Location: Greensboro, NC | Reports To: Director of Aviation


About the Company:

Eastern Airlines is headquartered in Greensboro, NC. Our aviation department supports executive travel and business operations with a Gulfstream G200 operating under Part 91. We are also the proud operator of a FAA Part 121 certificated airline with a fleet of 18 Boeing 737s, 4 Boeing 767s, and 2 Boeing 777s — providing our flight department pilots with a unique and compelling career pathway within a single organization.

Position Summary:


We are seeking two (2) experienced professional Captains to join our corporate flight department. The G200 Captain will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of our Gulfstream G200 in support of executive travel requirements. This is a W-2 employed position with a full benefits package.

When not supporting corporate operations, pilots may have the opportunity to generate additional income when the aircraft is made available for lease — compensated through a per-trip stipend above base salary.

Responsibilities:


  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of the Gulfstream G200 in Part 91 corporate operations
  • Conduct all preflight planning, weather analysis, fuel planning, and aircraft inspections
  • Ensure all flights are conducted in full compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and manufacturer limitations
  • Coordinate with executive assistants and passengers to ensure professional, seamless travel experience
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, maintenance squawks, and required documentation
  • Coordinate aircraft maintenance scheduling with MRO/service providers
  • Participate in standardization, safety, and recurrent training as required
  • Support lease operations when aircraft is made available, per company direction
  • Senior Captain (Pilot 1) will serve as lead pilot, overseeing scheduling, compliance, and coordination with the 121 operations team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • ATP Certificate — Airplane, Multiengine Land
  • FAA First-Class Medical Certificate (current)
  • Gulfstream G200 type rating (preferred) or demonstrated experience in comparable mid-to-large cabin jet
  • Minimum 3,000 total flight hours; 500+ hours PIC in turbine aircraft
  • Strong CRM, crew coordination, and communication skills
  • Valid U.S. Passport; ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Clean background check and motor vehicle record
  • Professional demeanor; discretion in handling executive-level passengers

Preferred Qualifications

  • G200 type rating with recent flight experience
  • IS-BAO or NBAA Safety Management System familiarity
  • Experience in single-pilot or two-pilot corporate flight department environments
  • Interest in long-term airline career transition (737/767/777)
