Job Summary
The Azure Databricks Data Engineer will design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines to support operational and analytics use cases. This role focuses on ingesting and transforming data from enterprise systems into workforce management platforms, ensuring high data quality, performance, and reliability across batch and near real-time workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines in Azure Databricks for ingesting and transforming data from upstream systems such as SAP, PIPS, and POS into WFM and UKG platforms.
  • Optimize ETL/ELT workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Java and API developers to integrate event-driven triggers into data pipelines.
  • Implement data quality checks, schema validation, and robust error-handling mechanisms.
  • Support batch and near real-time data flows for both operational and analytical use cases.
  • Work closely with Boomi and WFM teams to ensure data contracts and canonical data models are enforced.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure consistent data delivery.
