Temporary position for 12 months


The Cybersecurity Monitoring Ecosystem Department is looking for an Azure Data Lake Infrastructure Advisor

to join its team of experts in handling large volumes of sensitive and confidential data essential to cybersecurity activities. This role is key for ensuring sound management of environments, compliance and the achievement of enterprise architecture targets. You'll help maintain all the infrastructure required by Desjardins's Information Security Operations Division. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Serve as an expert in managing our department's Azure environments, including defining and implementing requirements and operational monitoring.
  • Help improve and optimize standards and policies to ensure we're always ahead of market requirements and standards.
  • Prepare recommendations and action plans based on the organization's objectives and priorities.
  • Help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and detailed knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate sound interpersonal savvy to interact with key players working in other fields.
  • Serve as an operations and service support specialist essential to the data lake infrastructure for various stakeholders.
  • Ensure the support and improvements needed to keep the infrastructure running smoothly.
  • Monitor the industry to understand and anticipate trends in your field and make appropriate recommendations.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer science
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience managing cloud computing environments
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Azure (Storage Account, AAD, SQL Server, ADF, Function Apps)
  • Intermediate experience in networking (VPN, VNET, sub-networks, CIDR notation)
  • Intermediate experience with Git and Azure Devops
  • Intermediate or advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep or Terraform.
  • Intermediate or advanced experience in scripting using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI.
  • Knowledge of French is required
