Job Title: Cloud Solutions Engineer
Location: Edmonton, AB
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will design and deliver cloud solutions supporting enterprise business and technology objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Design cloud solutions across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
  • Support cloud modernization initiatives for core banking, payments, citizen services, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, and telecom customer platforms.
  • Design solutions supporting telecom network operations, 5G platforms, edge computing, and digital services.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define solution requirements.
  • Support cloud adoption, migration, integration, and modernization initiatives.
  • Ensure solutions align with governance, compliance, security, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and best practices.
  • Support enterprise transformation and innovation initiatives.
  • Drive solution optimization, scalability, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Cloud Solutions Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments is required.
  • Experience designing cloud solutions for banking systems, government platforms, OSS/BSS, billing, charging, or telecom customer services.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Understanding of governance, compliance, security, and risk management requirements.
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation and modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with cloud architecture, integration patterns, and solution design.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working within enterprise environments.
  • Cloud certification preferred.
