Job Description

Position Title: Sr. Azure Architect

Location: Wilmington, DE

Hire Type: Full Time Only  

Job Description:-

1. 3+ years of experience in designing, developing and migrating large number of Azure cloud based applications (using IaaS & PaaS services) 

2. Experience in analyzing applications for Azure migration suitability and defining Cloud migration strategy for large number of applications.

3. Thorough understanding of Azure cloud service offering (covering Azure Compute, Storage and Network and PaaS services including App Services, Web Role/Worker Role, SQL Aure Database among others).

4. Strong knowledge of Cloud security standards and principles including Identity and Access management in Azure.

5. Ability to propose right target state on Azure considering cost, performance, and security

6. Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Azure cloud reference architecture and associated design patterns.

7. Experience in designing and architecting applications using latest as well as legacy Microsoft technology stack including ASP.NET, ASP.NET Web API, Classic ASP, VB6, Microsoft SQL Server.

8. Adequate knowledge on designing solutions for high availability and disaster recovery on Azure.

9. Experience in implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery

10. Experience in implementing service oriented applications


Good-to-Have

1. Experience of large scale data center migration 

2. Experience working in large scale application uplift projects

3. Experience in Windows Server 2003 Upgrade / Experience in SQL Server 2000, 2005 Upgrade

4. Broad knowledge of non-Microsoft platforms/technologies such as Java, PHP, Oracle DB
