Location: Vance, ALSchedule: On-siteAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Deskside Support Technician (Level 2) to provide hands-on IT support within a large automotive manufacturing environment. This is not a typical office support role-you'll be directly supporting systems and users that keep production running on the plant floor.If you enjoy troubleshooting in fast-paced environments and want exposure to enterprise-level infrastructure, this is a great opportunity to grow your IT career.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide deskside support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheralsTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issuesSupport production-critical systems including shop-floor workstations, RF scanners, and printersDeploy and image Windows 10/11 devices using tools such as SCCM, MDT, or AutopilotSupport Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), and Group PolicyConfigure and troubleshoot network printers and TCP/IP connectivityProvide support for AV and video conferencing systemsRespond to high-priority incidents impacting production operationsDocument all work in ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar) and meet SLA requirementsAssist with asset management including provisioning, deployment, and decommissioningWork EnvironmentCombination of office and manufacturing/plant floor supportExposure to industrial environments (noise, machinery, varying temperatures)Required use of PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, etc.)Walking and standing for extended periods across a large facilityRequired Qualifications3+ years of deskside or desktop support experience in an enterprise environmentStrong knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and deploymentExperience with Active Directory (user management, group policy, etc.)Familiarity with imaging tools (SCCM, MDT, Intune, or similar)Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)Strong communication and customer service skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environmentPreferred QualificationsCompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certificationsITIL knowledge or certificationExperience with Intune/Endpoint Manager and AutopilotPrevious experience in manufacturing or industrial IT environmentsFamiliarity with barcode scanners, label printers, or rugged devices
