This role is responsible for ensuring secure access, proper configuration, and ongoing governance of our core platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft 365/Azure AD. You'll work closely with Security, Engineering, and Operations to enforce strong access controls, maintain compliance with security frameworks, and improve the systems and workflows that support how Inkit operates

What You'll Do Identity & Access Management (IAM) Provision and manage systems account access via Rippling and Google Workspace SSO Manage the full user lifecycle (provisioning, deprovisioning, role changes) Implement and maintain MFA, conditional access, and identity governance policies Security & Compliance Monitor and audit system access, authentication logs, and platform activity Conduct periodic access reviews Respond to and support security incidents related to identity and access Assist leadership with special projects related to internal operations, process improvement, and organizational efficiency Automation & Process Improvement Develop automations for account management, reporting, and audits Improve onboarding, offboarding, and access approval workflows Integrate systems using APIs to reduce manual work and improve reliability Collaboration & Support Partner with Security, HR, and Engineering to define and enforce access policies Provide internal company support for authentication and access-related issues Document system configurations, procedures, and security policies What We're Looking For Required 3-5+ years of experience in systems administration and identity access management Strong understanding of SSO, SAML, and OAuth Experience implementing MFA and conditional access policies Strong attention to detail and security-first mindset Ability to manage multiple systems and priorities effectively Clear written and verbal communication skills Bonus Certifications such as Security+ Hands on experience with Microsoft 365 / Azure AD (Entra ID) Experience with identity providers (Platform One, Okta, etc.) Familiarity with security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST Experience with endpoint management / MDM solutions Experience with SIEM tools and log analysis Why This Role Matters As Inkit continues to scale across both government and commercial environments, maintaining strong security and access controls is critical to protecting our systems, customers, and data.
