Job description

Join our team as a Lead Cloud Engineer , where you\'ll take ownership of user stories, execute independently on development tasks, and deliver secure, scalable Google Cloud solutions (with Azure exposure) that drive business innovation. Responsibilities
  • Participate in user story creation, refinement, and estimation alongside product owners and business stakeholders
  • Independently pick up and complete user stories from design through implementation and testing
  • Develop and implement cloud solutions for infrastructure and applications, primarily in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), with exposure to Microsoft Azure
  • Contribute to reference architectures, guiding principles, and solution building blocks for enterprise cloud adoption
  • Support technology standards and best practices for cloud services and programmable infrastructure
  • Ensure security is integrated into all development and cloud solutions through proper design and implementation
  • Communicate progress, technical decisions, and impacts clearly to stakeholders across various roles and business domains
  • Develop proof-of-concept and contribute to position papers to drive technological improvements and innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into working technical solutions
Requirements
  • Strong hands-on development experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) - primary requirement
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred
  • Proven ability to work independently, taking ownership of stories/tasks from start to finish
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based delivery models, PaaS offerings, and data integration patterns
  • Experience applying engineering and coding skills in agile environments with DevOps practices
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage independently with stakeholders across various roles and business domains
  • Familiarity with IT architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF) and service management processes (ITIL) is a plus, but not required
  • Must be able to work onsite at client\'s office in Wilton, CT 2-3 days a week
