Job description
Sr. ETL Developer
Employer: HCL Global Systems Inc.
Job Duties: Design and develop ETL workflow to source data and stream into Azure App Insights. Collaborate with SME's and solution architects to analyze and assess Splunk log dashboards and data streams. Work with database teams to build Data Marts on key value data store systems like cassandra. Work closely with data warehousing, business intelligence, and other application teams to resolve cross-functional, technical, and data issues. Develop and build migration Strategy to move log streams from Splunk to Azure log analytics. Develop, test and build reporting dashboards using Azure App Insights. Build dashboards for Alerting system using data from Azure App Insights. Assist with strategy development, process design, high-level architecture requirements, and implementation. Analyze, debug and troubleshoot persistent problems. Document and maintain issue logs and analysis worksheets. Assist teams with ETL performance tuning and job scheduling for batch automation. Aggregate key data elements and create data Visualizations and dashboards. Develop testing strategy and document test cases based on the business logic. Monitor business requirement and prepare/update data flow diagrams and process documents. Partner with leadership to drive and apply continuous improvements to the client's data strategy. Develop and maintain a strong relationship with business and IT teams. Ensure deliverables meet or exceed service-level expectations for quality, timeliness, performance, and budget.
Work Location: Various unanticipated work locations throughout the United States; relocation may be required. Must be willing to relocate.
Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field. Experience: None
