Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with deep Azure expertise to lead cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and reliability engineering initiatives. This role will focus on enabling scalability, resilience, and compliance within enterprise environments, particularly in the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of hands-on technical skill, leadership, and consulting presence to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for scalable application delivery.
  • Ensure system availability, performance, and security with proactive monitoring and incident management.
  • Drive infrastructure automation through Infrastructure as Code to reduce manual effort.
  • Support cloud modernization by refactoring legacy systems into Azure-native architectures.
  • Lead initiatives on observability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
  • Enforce governance, security, and compliance practices for regulated environments.
  • Collaborate across engineering, QA, infrastructure, and security teams.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews and continuous system reliability improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of IT/engineering experience (mandatory).
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, identity, monitoring).
  • Proven ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, ARM Templates).
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills in production environments.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
